A number of local community members, producers and organizations partnered to initiate the development of a Locally Lambton map in 2012 that supported and facilitated the concept of buying locally in Lambton Map was very well received, with 35,000 copies printed and distributed locally and provincially.  Since the feedback and responses still remain positive the Lambton Federation of Agriculture has printed its 5th edition in 2015. The feedback was fantastic, and our fans asked for an interactive, user friendly mobile site!

The map and web helps support many purposes, and the objectives for producing this map are to:

  • Provide support for the local farmers by connecting consumers to local primary producers;
  • Promote the importance of purchasing local produce to reduce environmental footprints;
  • Help Lambton residents increase their vegetable and fruit consumption as well as promote physical activity through Pick-Your-Own farms. In all, help improve their health status.

We hope you enjoy our map, and please feel free to share.

Proudly partnering with the Greenbelt Foundation and OntarioFresh.ca to help our producers Succeed!
